PARMA WORKSHOP ON PARALLEL PROGRAMMING AND RUN-TIME MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES FOR MANY-CORE ARCHITECTURES **************************************************** Hannover, Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 Co-located with ARCS 2010 - Architecture of Computing Systems http://conferences.dei.polimi.it/2parma ***************** CALL FOR PAPERS ***************** SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP The current trend towards many core architecture requires a global rethinking of software and hardware design approaches. The 2PARMA workshop focuses on parallel programming models, design space exploration and run-time resource management techniques to exploit the features of many-core processor architectures. The 2PARMA workshop is composed of three main sessions: S1: Programming models and languages, compilers and virtualization techniques S2: Runtime management, power management and memory management S3: Design space exploration and many-core architecture customization IMPORTANT DATES December 15, 2009: Paper submission deadline January 15, 2009: Notification of the authors January 25, 2009: Final version of accepted papers for workshop proceedings February 22, 2010: Workshop INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS Papers should be submitted electronically through the workshop website. Submissions should be formatted according to Springer LNCS style (see: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html), and limited in length to up to 10 pages. Submissions should indicate the session and should be in pdf format. Accepted papers will be published in the ARCS Workshops Proceedings.
