--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Call for Papers The 2011 IEEE International Workshop on Anonymous Communication Systems (IEEE ACS 2011) http://trust.csu.edu.cn/conference/ACS2011/ In conjunction with The 10th IEEE International Conference on Trust, Security and Privacy in Computing and Communications (IEEE TrustCom-11) November 16-18, 2011, Changsha, China http://trust.csu.edu.cn/conference/TrustCom2011/ With the extensive applications of computer network technologies, various network environments, including cloud computing, Internet of Things, P2P networks, and social networks, are emerging in our daily lives. The emerging applications require stronger security and privacy mechanisms to protect network communications among users. Anonymous communication is used to hide communication participants or communication relations so as to achieve effective protection for network nodes and user identities. Anonymous communication can address potential network security issues, and becomes one of the hot topics in the field of network and information security. For the better protection of secure communication and user privacy, including location, identity and behavior habits, it is necessary to develop anonymous communication theories, methods and key technologies of anonymous communication systems in all varieties of application environments. ACS 2011 aims at providing a forum for discussing the latest academic and industrial research results in all aspects of anonymous communication systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: (1) Architecture for anonymous communication system (2) Formalizing anonymous communication system (3) Anonymity measures and evaluation (4) Controllable management and revocability in anonymous communication (5) Anonymous communication in cloud computing (6) Anonymous communication in Internet of Things (7) Anonymous communication in P2P networks (8) Anonymous communication in social networks (9) Anonymous signature and authentication (10) Anonymous communication & privacy protection (11) Anonymous communication & network security (12) Anonymous email system (13) Anonymous storage and publishing system (14) Anonymous browsing system Publication All accepted papers from this workshop will be published by IEEE Computer Society in TrustCom-11 conference/workshop proceedings (indexed by EI Compendex and ISTP). Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be invited for possible publication in special issues of prestige international journals indexed by SCI and EI (pending). Important Dates Paper submissions due: June 30, 2011 Notification of decision: August 30, 2011 Camera-ready papers due: September 30, 2011 Submission Instructions All submissions should be written in English with a maximum length of 6 pages (or 10 pages with the over length charge) in the IEEE Conference Proceedings Format (8.5" x 11", Two-Column). Papers should be submitted through the paper submission system at the workshop website. http://trust.csu.edu.cn/conference/ACS2011/submission/ Program Co-Chairs Prof. Bart Preneel, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium Prof. Jianhua Ma, Hosei University, Japan Prof. Guihua Duan, Central South University, China Publicity Co-Chairs Peter Mueller, IBM Zurich Research Laboratory, Switzerland Mianxiong Dong, The University of Aizu, Japan Contact Please email inquiries concerning ACS 2011 to: Prof. Guihua Duan (duangh@mail.csu.edu.cn) and the workshop organizers (ACS2011changsha@gmail.com). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
