2026 14th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Mobile Computing
July 27-30, 2026
https://cisose.fit.ac.jp/imc/
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IEEE Intelligent Mobile Computing (former IEEE MobileCloud) is a leading IEEE-sponsored international conference focusing on intelligent mobile, edge, and cloud computing systems. IEEE IMC 2026 covers foundational and applied research on architectures, systems, and methodologies that enable AI-driven, autonomous, intelligent, and adaptive computing across the mobile–edge–cloud continuum.

This years’ edition of the IEEE IMC will take place in Fukuoka, Japan, from July 27-30, 2026. IEEE IMC 2026 is part of the IEEE International Congress on Intelligent and Service-Oriented Systems Engineering (CISOSE) offering a broad spectrum of international events, shared renowned keynotes, joint activities, and fostering exchange among researchers and practitioners. Information on all co-located events is available on the CISOSE website.

The IEEE IMC 2026 invites high-quality research contributions that advance the foundations, algorithms, and systems of intelligent mobile computing systems. The conference welcomes both theoretical and applied work, including experimental studies and real-world deployments, that address the design, implementation, and operation of autonomous, adaptive, and learning-enabled mobile, edge, and cloud computing systems. Submissions on Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, AI agents for autonomous orchestration, decision-making and planning in intelligent mobile, edge, and cloud computing are particularly encouraged. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Paper Guidelines

Papers must adhere to the following guidelines. Regular/full papers are limited to a maximum of 8 pages, short papers to 6 pages, and posters to 2 pages, inclusive of tables, figures, and references. All submissions must be written in English and conform to the IEEE double-column proceedings format, with templates being available for LaTeX and Word here. Submitted papers must present original work and should not be under review elsewhere. Each accepted paper must be presented in person by one of its authors at the conference. Presentations via teleconference are not allowed. In exceptional cases, a qualified substitute presenter may be permitted, but only with prior written approval from the Technical Program Committee Chairs.

All submitted papers will undergo a peer-review process. IEEE IMC 2026 follows hereby a single-blind review process. Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest with members of the Program Committee when submitting their manuscript. In such cases, the Program Committee Chairs will ensure that the identified Program Committee member(s) are excluded from reviewing the paper.
