Call For Papers | |||||||||||||
Dear Colleagues,
Greetings from the Fulbright Review of Economics and Policy (FREP)! We are pleased to announce the launch of the Fulbright Review of Economics and Policy journal and we would like to invite you to submit your high-quality research to our journal. FREP is a brand-new Open Access journal of international scope, which will begin publication in 2021. The journal is published by Emerald Publishing Group and owned by Fulbright University Vietnam. Fulbright’s Master of Public Policy Program has been accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administrations (NASPAA), the global standard in public service education established in 1970 in Washington, D.C., and thereby becoming the first public policy school in Southeast Asia accredited by NASPAA. FREP seeks to publish articles which contribute new theoretical and empirical results in all the areas of economics and public policy. The title covers but is not limited to: Development economics, Public finance, Green economics, Resource economics, Inequality and poverty, Trade and globalization, Political economics, Urban economics, Fiscal and monetary policies, Governance and public administration. Fulbright University Vietnam sponsors all publication costs, and therefore authors will be able to publish their articles with no Article Processing Charge or other costs. Our ambition is to achieve an impact factor in the range of 1.0-2.0. The journal aspires to be indexed in Web of Science: Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) and Scopus by the year 2025. FREP is supported by an exceptional Editorial & Advisory Board (EAB), including outstanding professors from top-notch universities worldwide like James E. Anderson (Boston College – USA), Anh Tran (Indiana University – USA), Terry Buss (National Academy of Public Administration – USA), Ian Coxhead (University of Wisconsin-Madison – USA), Cuong Le-Van (Paris School of Economics – France), Eddy Malesky (Duke University – USA), Dwight Perkins (Harvard University – USA), Binh Tran-Nam (University of New South Wales, Australia) and many more. We seek to provide a rapid peer review process, with high quality reviews from leading scholars in the field (including the members of the EAB) and work with authors to bring papers of high quality to publication in the FREP. Once published your paper is visible: in addition to Emerald’s pre-publication service which allows your paper to be available online two months before publication. Additionally, Emerald now partners with Kudos, a new service that helps researchers and their institutions/funders to measure, monitor and maximize the visibility and impact of their published articles. For full details on the journal’s coverage and the authors’ guidelines please visit here. All submissions received before 31 March 2021 will be given full consideration for the first issue of our journal. If you know scholars who could contribute quality work to our journal, we highly appreciate it if you could kindly help circulate our call for paper for their contributions. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at frep@fulbright.edu.vn (attention to: Mr. Tien Bui, the journal editorial assistant). Thank you for your time and considerations.
