****CALL for WORKSHOP PROPOSALS****
6th International Symposium on Parallel Computing in Electrical Engineering (PARELEC 2011) http://www.beds.ac.uk/parelec http://www.beds.ac.uk/parelec/callforpapers/callforworkshop 3rd April - 7th April 2011 University of Bedfordshire, Luton, UK PARELEC was established in 1998 and it is a well known and acknowledged biennial international symposium combining latest advances in research and technology in hardware, software, methodology as well as application aspects of distributed and parallel processing. The purpose of PARELEC 2011 is to bring together researchers, developers, and users of distributed and parallel systems from academia and from industry. This is a forum for presenting cutting-edge distributed technologies and applications (particularly from electrical engineering, high performance computations, and telecommunication systems). ******** Call for Workshop Proposals The PARELEC 2011 International Steering Committee invites proposals for workshops. The accepted workshops from this call will be included in the PARELEC 2011 main program. Workshop proposals must provide a forum for discussion in areas of special interest within the broader sense of distributed systems, technologies and parallel computing. The scope of the workshops is also to acknowledge the impact of parallel and distributed computing systems, technologies and their wider applications in the information society. Workshop papers will follow the IEEE format submission guidelines and they should be 4 pages long. Proposal Submission Process Please e-mail your enquiries and workshop proposal to the Workshop Chair: Dr Sijin Zhang at sijing.zhang@beds.ac.uk Workshop Proposal Content o Workshop title o Name, affiliation, postal address, and e-mail address for each organizer o Identification of the primary contact person(s) o Background and Motivation o Aims and Scope o List of topics o Important Dates o Instruction for Authors o Indicate the target number of registered submissions o Indicate how you plan to attract submissions o Indicate how you plan to review submissions o Indicate whether you plan to invite extended version of best accepted papers for publication in edited books or special journal issues.
