This special issue seeks research contributions as well as review articles that conceptually, theoretically and technically focus on the applications of Artificial Intelligence in the modern educational and pedagogical systems. The scope of the Special Issue includes, but is not limited to: AI-enhanced teaching and learning; Human-machine interaction analysis in educational/pedagogical contexts; Innovative AI-enhanced learning/teaching systems; Internet of Things (IoT) in AI-enhanced learning systems; AI-based knowledge communities; AI-based technologies/systems for education and e-learning.
