As 5G technology envisioned to change our lifestyle, smart cities bring new challenges for the all-round coverage using intelligent mobile networks. Metrix such as delay, bandwidth, and packet loss are repeatedly refined due to the upgrade of this next-generation communications. Move ever, some emerging techniques (e.g., edge computing, SDN/NFV, artificial intelligence) are envisioned to have promising ability to bring novel learning-based approaches to upgrade the smart cities. This workshop provides a forum for academic researchers and industry practitioners to exchange the most recent progress in Advances in Intelligent Mobile Networks for Smart Cities.
The workshop solicits submissions from areas relating to intelligent algorithms/approaches to solve problems in data science of smart cities, intelligent mobile networks, AI-driven mobile applications and solutions for all related fields. The interested topics include but not limited to: Architectures and systems design Intelligent resource allocation and management New Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) service Machine learning, deep learning for intelligent management Cloud computing, edge computing in mobile networks Protocol design and intelligent networking QoS and QoE smart applications Social networking and computing for smart cities Green, reliable and low-latency communications Security, Dependability, and Assurance issues in smart cities and mobile networks Submission Schedule: Paper Submission Deadline: on or before September 17, 2020 Notification of paper acceptance: on or before October 15, 2020 Camera-ready paper submissions: on or before October 25, 2020 Submission Guidelines Submitted manuscripts must be prepared according to IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Format (double-column, 10pt font, letter paper) and submitted in PDF file format. The manuscript (including figures, tables, appendices, references) should be no longer than 6 pages and at least 4 pages. Up to two additional pages are permitted if the authors are willing to pay an over-length charge at the time of publication (manuscripts cannot exceed 8 pages in total).
