Workshop Description

International Workshop on Healthcare through Multimedia Analytics is an international forum, which aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and scientific communities to report and discuss the common challenges, advancements and opportunities in healthcare through multimedia analytics. The workshop will focus on all relevant aspects of Multimedia big data in health care.

We invite original contributions in areas including, but not limited to:

• Medical image and video analysis
• Multimodal healthcare data analytics
• Health Analytics and Informatics
• Digital health and Precision Medicine
• Deep learning for medical imaging and diagnostics
• Multimodal fusion for clinical decision support
• Healthcare video analytics (e.g., surgical and endoscopic videos)
• Biosignal and wearable sensor data analysis
• Explainable and trustworthy AI in healthcare
• Privacy-preserving and federated learning for medical data
• Multimedia retrieval and indexing for medical datasets
• AI-enabled telemedicine and remote patient monitoring
• Novel multimedia big data based frameworks for healthcare systems
• Predictive analysis and modelling in healthcare systems
• Multimedia big data for disease diagnosis
• Multimedia big data for electronic health records
• Multimedia big data for biomedical informatics
• Cloud/grid/stream computing for multimedia data
• High performance/parallel computing platforms for multimedia data
• Security and privacy in healthcare systems
• Novel developments and applications of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and extended reality (XR) in a healthcare, including, surgery, mental health, pain management, psychological and physical therapy.


All accepted papers that are duly registered and presented at the workshop will be published in the main conference proceedings and made available through IEEE Xplore.
