1st International Workshop on Information and Communication System Interoperability: Success Stories (ICSISS 2020)
ICSISS 2020 will be co-located with Conference of Business Informatics (CBI 2020) UPDATE The coronavirus Covid-19 is clearly having an impact on all aspects of our lives. This also includes academic conferences such as CBI and ICSISS. We have now made the decision jointly with the CBI organizers to definitely organize CBI 2020 and its workshops in an on-line format. CBI 2020 The 22nd IEEE International Conference on Business Informatics (CBI 2020) encourages a broad understanding of Business Informatics research and intends to further its many different facets, theoretical foundation and experiential body of knowledge. Based on integrative socio-technical and socio-economical views, Business Informatics advances our knowledge and design for future challenges of the digital transformation. The conference calls for submissions in the multidisciplinary field of Business Informatics, and welcomes a multitude of theoretical and practical lenses, perspectives and mindsets on today’s challenges of the digital transformation. More information on the venue, dates, registration and programme are available in: https://www.uantwerpen.be/en/conferences/business-informatics/ CBI also proposes workshops providing ample room for discussion of recent business informatics developments, as well as new and emerging ideas. One of these workshops is the 1st International Workshop on Information and Communication System Interoperability: Success Stories. https://meritis.fr/evenement/information-and-communication-system-interoperability-success-stories-icsiss-2020/ ICSISS 2020 Information and Communication Systems Interoperability (ICSI) aims at providing to two or more systems the necessary means to exchange between, and use functionalities and resources from each other. In many businesses, Information and Communication Systems (ICS) play a crucial role. Many businesses have a plethora of ICS for the most varied purposes such as client relationship management, accounting management, human resources management, risk assessment and so on. In many cases, these ICS have to exchange information within the enterprise or with external partners and their own ICS. Therefore, well design and implemented ICSI project is essential for ensuring the exchange and use of information and resources between the different stakeholders. For this workshop, we encourage the original applied research contributions sharing and discussing the challenges, success stories, case studies, lessons learned and solutions related to Information and Communication Systems Interoperability.
