BEC2020, the 17th Biennial Conference on Electronics and Embedded Systems will be held in Tallinn, Estonia on October 6–8 2020. This year our conference is dedicated to famous Estonian German scientist Thomas Johann Seebeck, born in May 250 years ago. Thomas Johann Seebeck discovered the thermoelectric effect, which starts to play important
role in energy harvesting actions on the molecular level today.
Tallinn University of Technology has been hosted the Baltic Electronics Conferences since 1987. The conferences have taken place regularly and in every second year. Since March 23, 2006 we are we are an officially IEEE-supported conference.
The aim of the Conference is to promote research and development in the field of electronics and embedded systems, particularly in the Baltic Sea region.
Historically, Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is unique in terms of its medieval Old Town, characterized by narrow, curved streets and tiled roofs. First records about Tallinn date back to the beginning of the last millennium. During its long and eventful history, Tallinn has been a remarkable centre of craftsmen, artists and merchants in Europe, belonging to the Hanseatic League.

The conference BEC2020 will provide an opportunity to come together and discuss ones’ recent research work in defined topics of the field at an international forum in Tallinn, Estonia.

Topics:
1. Cognitive Systems and Communication.
2. Cyberphysical and Embedded Systems.
