eLSE 2011 is the 7-th eLearning and Software for Education Conference organized by the Advanced Distributed Learning Department to be held in April, 28th- 29th, 2011.
The central theme of this forthcoming event stands out as "Anywhere, Anytime- Education on Demand". eLSE is an international refereed conference created with the aim to promote eLearning related activities by providing learning and professional development, by blending ideas from researchers, developers and practitioners from education, business and government , to both learn, teach and share from one’s own experience. The conference is particularly focused on: * Technology enhanced Life Long Learning. This section spins around innovative solutions in the design and realization of the support management systems for education and training, technical solutions and approaches on interoperability and on generating training on the fly. * Immersive technologies. This topic is dedicated for the presentation of solutions regarding serious games, distributed simulation, multitouch, virtual world, m-learning, 3D solutions and other related activities. * New pedagogical dimensions in eLearning. This topic covers presentations on the way learning objectives are used in education, assignment-oriented learning, instructional templates, eLearning object life cycle, reusability of elearning content. * Modeling and Simulation in ADL. The discussions will be tailored to respond specific issues regarding modeling and simulation, best practices in ADL domain, repositories and sequencing issues, solutions and systems that evaluate the performance of virtual learning environment and assess the actors’ performances. A special place will be reserved for the papers that reflect the progress of the scientific research projects that are in relations with eLearning. |
