Dossier "Postmodern Literature Revisited"

Now that the first decade of the twenty-first century is over, what is the relevance of terms such as “postmodern” and postmodern literature”? We would like to encourage authors to submit papers which raise issues about the quality of the contemporary literary production as to aspects such as its insertion in, rejection of, or criticism of – or any of these reactions in dynamic dialog – the current experience of the so-called globalized world’s culture. Is it still significant to describe or conceive of something as “postmodern”? Has this concept become consolidated in terms of the literary canon? What are its challenges and the contestations to the perception of contemporary literature as “postmodern”?
