The Conference on the Future: Energy, Economy and Environment: Deflation vs. Sustainability (CF 2010) is a premiere conference for the study of the future by integrating the fields of energy, economics, and environment; and focusing on achieving sustainability, and will be held during November 5-8, 2010 in Michigan, USA.

For 2010, the conference will study of risks to businesses, governments, and individuals of changes in energy, economy, and environment, with a particular focus on examining current economics, especially on measuring and understanding deflation (of money, credit, debt), inflation, hyperinflation, the business cycle, flow of funds, finance, economic bubbles, market manias, the state of the housing market, and schools of economic thought; with emphasis on local money (alternative currency, complementary currency, local currency, community currency), state-owned banks, monetary reform, and the Federal Reserve.

Papers are invited that contribute to any aspect of conference theme, and may be conceptual, empirical or case based. The following topics are encouraged, with preference toward integration of energy, economics, environment, sustainability and deflation.
