Call for Papers - HCIS 2025 HCIS 2025: 18th International Conference on Human Centred Intelligent Systems 25-27June, 2025 | Solin, Croatia http://hcis-25.kesinternational.org/ Part of KES Smart Digital Futures conference which groups AMSTA-25, IDT-25, HCIS-25, InMed-25, SEEL-25 and STS-25 in one venue. http://sdf-25.kesinternational.org/ Aim KES-HCIS-25 is an international scientific symposium for research in the fields of human center intelligent systems. The aim of the conference is to provide an internationally respected forum for scientific research in the technologies and applications of human center intelligent systems. Human-centered intelligent systems (HCIS) are information systems applying artificial intelligence in order to support humans and to interact with people. At the forefront of the human-centered intelligent systems, assistant systems have emerged as prime examples. These systems, such as voice-oriented platforms like Alexa and Siri, as well as text-oriented platforms like ChatGPT and Bard, have revolutionized the way we interact with technology. They have proven to be invaluable tools, capable of handling complex tasks without demanding specialized domain expertise, drawing significant attention due to the remarkable strides in generative artificial intelligence. However, the true essence of human-centered intelligent systems goes beyond mere convenience and utility. The human element plays a pivotal role in various aspects of these systems. From optimizing knowledge representations and developing algorithms to collecting and labeling data and deciding what to model in the first place, humans are indispensable in shaping and guiding the capabilities of intelligent systems. We invite senior scientists who have a special interest in a specific conference topic to take responsibility for an invited session, gathering papers from a range of research expertise around the world. Researchers who would like to organise one or more Invited Sessions on topics falling within the scope of the conference are invited to submit a proposal for consideration. Click Here to Download Invited Session Template For details of the sessions accepted so far see here: http://hcis-25.kesinternational.org/cmsISdisplay.php Submission Guidelines and Review Process Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished papers which are not under review for another conference, workshop, or journal by the time of submission. The contributors should address one or more research areas included above. Detailed submission information is available on the conference page --here-- Submitted papers will undergo double-blind peer review by at least two members of the program committee. Prior to submission, please ensure that you have removed any information from your paper which could identify the authors. Paper acceptance is based on the following criteria: novelty, technical soundness, practical or theoretical impact, clarity, and presentation. At least one author per paper submission is required to register for the conference, and to present the paper.
