The 10-th CEAFE/MWET (Conférence Euro-Africaine en Finance et Economie/ Mediterranean Workshop in Economic Theory) will be taking place in Faculté d’Économie et de Gestion Settat on 5-6 of June 2026.
It is being organized jointly with the Laboratoire de modélisation mathématique et de calculs économiques LM2CE, AMSE-Aix-Marseille Université, CES-Université Paris 1-Panthéon-Sorbonne, CORE-Université Catholique de Louvain, L.R. MASE-ESSAI, Université de Carthage. CEAFE/MWET aims to enrich our scientific knowledge on the economic and financial problems arising in modern societies, bringing together researchers working in the frontier of knowledge in the areas of Economics and Finance. It covers a wide diversity of methods (theoretical, empirical and experimental) and scientific topics (e.g., theoretical economics, financial economics, political economics, industrial organization, normative economics, public economics, international economics, macroeconomics, labor market, environmental economics, microeconomics, mathematical economics, networks, welfare, social choice, quantitative finance, applied econometrics, financial markets and banking, fiscal and monetary policy, economic growth, development economics, business and financial cycles) to push forward the frontier of scientific knowledge in the areas of Economics and Finance. The submission of papers is encouraged in all areas of Finance, Economics and connected fields: (Economic Theory, Microeconomics, Game theory, Macroeconomics, Econometrics). However, special attention will be paid to the following areas: Development Economics, Poverty/Inequality, Labor Economics, International Economics, Public Economics, Environmental Economics, Health Economics, Political Economics, Contract theory, Industrial Organisation, Mathematical Economics, Statistics, Data analysis, General equilibrium, Taxation, Pension, Education, Welfare Economics, Monetary Economics, Financial Economics, Risk, Insurance, Public Finance, Islamic Finance, Banking sector. Authors will be required to create an account and submit their papers via the CMT syste: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/User/Login?ReturnUrl=%2FCEAFE2026%2FTrack%2F1%2FSubmission%2FCreate Instructions to authors The deadline for paper submission is January 19, 2026 Submission must be made only online Only full-Paper proposals (in English) will be considered. Decisions will be communicated to authors by March 29, 2026. The first page must include: i) The title of the paper, ii) Authors’ names with their affiliations, indicating the corresponding author with complete contact details (address, phone number and e-mail), iii) Abstract, iv) Key words, v) JEL classification , vi) The proposal area if it is among the priority areas of the conference.
