Call For Papers

The 7th International Conference on Intelligent Environments (IE’11) will be held at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. This conference is the seventh edition in a series of highly successful conferences that were organized in Colchester (UK), Athens (Greece), Ulm (Germany), Seattle (USA), Barcelona (Spain) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) in the past six years. The conference provides a collaborative forum for scientists, researchers and engineers from both industry and academia to present theoretical and practical results of Intelligent Environments research and their application in various domains and disciplines. This conference program will include workshops, invited lectures and special sessions of full and short papers and posters. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

About the Venue:

Nottingham is in the heart of England and is an excellent city break destination offering culture, recreation, excellent shopping and modern European dining to an estimated 1.3 million visitors annually. Many visitors are attracted by Nottingham's nightlife, its history, the legend of Robin Hood, Sherwood Forest and popular history-based tourist attractions in central Nottingham including Nottingham Castle, City of Caves, Lace Market, the Galleries of Justice, and the City's ancient pubs.
There are direct link between Nottingham Airport (East Midland Airport) and many other major European cities. Visitors from US and Asian countries can travel to Birmingham, Heathrow or Manchester Airport. There are direct train and coach services from these airports to Nottingham. There are many hotels and temporary accommodations in walking distance from the conference venue.
