Deadline for submission of abstracts: Wednesday 25th September 2019.
Abstract guidelines and instructions: Abstracts must be written in English ICRD will accept new and encore abstracts, however, if it is an encore, it should be stated in the abstract footnote. Abstract authors must declare any funding received or conflict of interest as part of their abstract and any subsequent presentation. Abstracts submitted on behalf of a pharmaceutical company must have a clinician or scientist as the first and presenting author. An individual cannot present or be the first author on more than three abstracts. Presenting authors must have significantly contributed towards the writing of the abstract. Abstracts must be submitted on or before the closing date (Wednesday 25 September 2019), late submissions will NOT be included in the conference book. All accepted abstracts will be published in a conference abstract supplement of ICRD Authors can indicate on the submission form if their abstract is suitable for publicity in the lay press. ICRD Press Office will consult authors before any press release during the conference, which would only be undertaken with your full knowledge and authority. All accepted abstracts will be published as a pdf in ICRD website allowing free of charge access by researchers worldwide. The person submitting the abstract must accept full responsibility for submission of the abstract and ensure the presenting author is responsible for the presentation of the abstract, whether as an oral and/or poster and attend the respective presentation session(s). A maximum of 10 authors per abstract is allowable within the published abstract. Abstract titles should be a maximum of 50 words with no abbreviations. Abstract text should be a maximum of 300 words and no tables or figures should be inserted into the abstract title or text. Abstracts should be containing: the title, authors surname, and initials, authors affiliations, corresponding author’s contact details, introduction, methods, results, discussion and references where applicable.
