The International Symposium on Information Theory and Its Applications (ISITA) is a leading conference on information theory. ISITA is a forum for interdisciplinary interaction, gathering leading researchers to discuss topics of common interest in the field of information theory. In 2020, ISITA marks the 30th anniversary of the first symposium. It is also the return of the symposium to Hawai'i, where ISITA was first held in 1990, as well as in 2000 and 2012.
Interested authors are invited to submit papers describing novel and previously unpublished results on topics in information theory and its applications, including, but not limited to: • Boolean Functions and Sequences • Information Theory for Biology • Coding for Storage • Information Inequalities • Coding Theory • Network Coding and Information Theory • Communication Theory • Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning • Computation and Complexity in Information Theory • Quantum Information and Coding Theory • Cryptography and Information-Theoretic Security • Shannon Theory • Data Privacy and Security • Signal Processing • Deep Learning in Information Theory • Source Coding and Data Compression • Distributed Coding and Computation • Sparsity and Compressed Sensing • Estimation and Detection • Statistical Inference and Learning • Formalization of Information Theory • Statistical Physics for Information Theory • Group Testing • Statistics and Information Geometry • Information Hiding • Wireless Communications Paper Submission Authors should submit papers according to the guidelines which will appear later on this web site. Accepted papers will appear in the symposium proceedings. To be published in IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted paper must register and present the paper. IEEE does not guarantee inclusion in IEEE Xplore. Refer to 2020.isita.net for the most up-to-date information. |
