Integration of disciplines to explore biological systems

A ’biological system’ could be defined as a ensemble group of interconnected components elements that function together to comprise of an unified whole. The domain of such a system may not be clearly defined, especially if multi-faceted complex organisms are being investigated. However using systems approach the dynamic but multi-scale relationship amongst subsets of modules could be related to understand stability or the emergence of a new state of existence in biology. Indeed spectacular advancements in quantitative techniques, sensitive instruments, integration between experimental and computational approaches, brought new technological aim conceptual paradigms or frameworks to investigate and modal organism in health and disease at the system levels. Thus the focus of this conference is to facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue and industries in the field of medicine and biology to accelerate the process of appropriate healthcare technology development.
