*************************************************************** Brazilian Symposium on Computer Games and Digital Entertainment (SBGames) COMPUTING TRACK November 7-10, 2020 https://www.sbgames.org/sbgames2020/calls/call-for-computing/ *************************************************************** Important Dates July 31st, 2020 – Submission deadline September 4th, 2020 – Notification of decision September 18th, 2020 – Camera-ready, copyright, and video October 2nd, 2020 – Registration *************************************************************** The Brazilian Symposium on Computer Games and Digital Entertainment (SBGames) is the largest and most important conference for games and digital entertainment in Latin America. SBGames will be held on November 7-10, 2020 as an online virtual conference, in conjunction with SIBGRAPI, ISMAR, and SVR Conferences. The goal of SBGames Computing track is to bring together researchers from all aspects of Computing for Games and Digital Entertainment and have them present their most recent results, initiate fruitful collaborations and discussions, and contribute to the advancement of the research area. The Computing track has two traditional paper sessions, full-papers and short-papers. The potential topics include, but are not limited to: . Computer Graphics . Artificial Intelligence . Human-Computer Interaction . Computer Vision . Interactive Storytelling . Game Software Engineering, Patterns and Programming . VR, Ubiquitous and Pervasive Games . Audio Design and Sound Engineering . Multimodal Interaction (haptics, sound, etc.) . Game Theory and Multi-agent Systems . Player Experience and Player Modeling . Emotion Modeling and Interaction . Serious Games and Applications . Game Analytics . Networking *************************************************************** Submission Instructions We invite submissions of original, high-quality papers in any of the topics of interest (see above) or any computer-related topic. Papers should be anonymized for double-blind reviewing, that is, the author’s names and affiliations should not appear explicitly in the paper, nor self-identifying citations and references. Papers exceeding page limits, multiple submissions, and self-plagiarized papers will be rejected without further review. They should be submitted electronically in PDF format through JEMS at https://jems.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=3652 For specific details about submission format and procedure, please check https://www.sbgames.org/sbgames2020/calls/call-for-computing/ This year, with the current COVID-19 situation, there will be virtual meetings with online presentations, discussion panels, Q&A sessions, and discussion forums. This will be an amazing opportunity for participants to attend the presentations at various sessions (which are often difficult due to overlap in parallel sessions), with no geographical limitations.
