Call For Papers

The Workshop on Technology in Distance Education (WT.E @ D) is a scientific forum for exchanging experience and knowledge among teachers, researchers, professionals, practitioners, students and developers concerned with research and development of virtual learning environments based on Distance Education.

Must undergo scientific articles which deal with the issue of distance education, its technologies and teaching methodologies, as well as case studies and applications in the fields of distance education.

The Program Committee invites authors to contribute submissions of extended abstracts presenting search results in the following topics (but not limited to them):

New Information and Communication Technologies applied to distance education;
Methods of Teaching and Learning in Distance Education;
Educational Media;

Educational Games;

Digital Inclusion and exclusion;

Free Software in Distance Education;

Virtual Learning Environments;

Content Management System for Web;

Evasion of the courses in distance mode;

Virtual and Augmented Reality in Distance Education;

All computer technologies applied to distance education.

Call for papers (extended abstracts)
Deadline for extended abstracts: November 21, 2010

Notification of acceptance: February 6, 2011

Extended abstracts must be at least 2 (two) and a maximum of four (4) pages. The names of authors and their affiliations, as well as references to identify the authors should be removed from the submitted manuscript (omit for evaluation).
