Cuban Journal of Digital Transformation Special Issue “Understanding Digital Transformation” PAPERS TYPE AND TOPICS Review and original papers are especially encouraged (but not limited to) on the following topics related to Digital Transformation: -Models of Digital Transformation: Models as architectures, ontologies, conceptual frameworks and standards are necessary to discover complex adaptive systems subjacent to Digital Transformation. Readiness and maturity models to measure digital transformation for enterprises and public administration are also recommended. -Digital platforms for digital transformation: IoT, Big Data, Blockchain & Cloud Computing platforms are examples of new digital platforms which habilitate Digital Transformation in our societies. Implementation of such platforms will be welcomed. -Technologies trends for digital transformation: Disruption is the norm in the Digital Revolution. Cyber-physical systems, Artificial Intelligence, Collaborative Robotics, Big Data Analytics and Big Data Management, Blockchain, Hyperconnectivity, Cloud, Fog and Edge computing, Augmented Reality, Digital Twins, and smart spaces, among others emergent technologies, could be focus of original and review papers. -Digital ecosystems for innovation: one of the main value focuses of Digital Transformation is collaboration for innovation in digital ecosystems. Rigorous papers on real Digital Ecosystems & Innovation can be presented in this issue. Case studies papers are welcome to depict Digital Transformation on the society. This Special Issue will priviledge case studies papers on the following (but not limited to) scenarios: -Smart Government and smart cities -Industry 4.0 -Transformation based on Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence -IoT applications deployments -Blockchain-based applications -Local and/or social impact of Digital Transformation SUBMISSIONS The language of the Journal is Spanish or English.
