ReCoSoC 2011 6th International Workshop on Reconfigurable and Communication-centric Systems-on-Chip June 20-22 2011 - Montpellier, France http://www.recosoc.org ______________________________________________________________ ReCoSoC is an informal workshop aiming to encourage technical and scientific exchanges between senior academics and young researchers in the area of reconfigurable and communication-centric systems-on-chip. One of its original principles is to obtain sponsoring from companies and funding agencies, so that registration fees are kept low and the participation of doctoral students is stimulated. This year ReCoSoC will be held at the University of Montpellier 2, LIRMM, CNRS, Montpellier, France. All papers will be published in the workshop proceedings, and the authors of the best papers will be invited to submit an extended version to a special issue of ACM Transactions on Reconfigurable Technology and Systems. Previous ReCoSoC special issues have appeared in Hindawi's International Journal of Reconfigurable Computing and Elsevier's Microprocessors and Microsystems. ReCoSoC'2011 proceedings will be published in IEEE Xplore. Besides all technical sessions and social events on June 20-22, ReCoSoC also includes a two-day hands-on workshop on partial reconfiguration flow offered by Xilinx on June 23-24 (limited seats) and a 4-hours tutorial on June 22. Xilinx Workshop pre-registration is now available on CNFM's website: http://cmos.cnfm.fr/index.php/workshop-xilinx-xup. Important dates: Paper submission deadline: April 24 2011 Notification of acceptance: May 17 2011 Final version deadline: May 22 2011 Topics of interest: - reconfigurable and adaptive embedded SoCs - multiprocessor embedded systems - on-chip communication architectures - communication-centric design techniques - partial, dynamic and self reconfiguration techniques - specification languages and environments - verification and evaluation techniques - low power design of reconfigurable and multiprocessor SoCs - OS and middleware for reconfigurable and multiprocessor SoCs - new paradigms for reconfigurable and communication-centric computing Special sessions: 1) Dependability in multiprocessor and reconfigurable SoCs Chair: Gert Jervan 2) Reconfigurable computing in education (RCE) Chairs: Pascal Benoit, Guy Gogniat, Lilian Bossuet 3) EU Projects focusing on tools and architectures for reconfigurable computing and multiprocessors Chairs: Michael Huebner, Joao Cardoso Committees: General Chair: Gilles Sassatelli - LIRMM, FR Program Chairs: Diana Goehringer - Fraunhofer IOSB - Ettlingen, DE Leandro Soares Indrusiak - University of York, UK Local Chair and Web Chair: Gabriel Marchesan Almeida, LIRMM, FR Tutorial Chair: Luciano Copello Ost, LIRMM, FR ACM TRETS Guest Editor: Michael Huebner, ITIV KIT, DE Program Committee (tentative): Alfredo Rosado, Uni Valencia, ES Andreas Herkersdorf, TU Munich, DE Bernard Pottier, Uni Brest, FR Christian Gamrat, CEA-LIST, FR Christophe Bobda, Uni Potsdam, DE Debatosh Debnath, Oakland University, US Didier Demigny, ENSSAT, FR Dirk Stroobandt, Uni Gent, BE Eduardo de la Torre, Uni Politecnica de Madrid, ES Eduardo Sanchez, EPFL, CH Fearghal Morgan, NUI Galway, IE Fernando Moraes, PUCRS, BR Francois Verdier, ENSEA, FR Georgi Gaydadjiev, TU Delft, NL H.J.
