General Information
Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networking has been applied successfully in different areas of Internet-based communication, such as P2P file sharing and P2P streaming. It has been considered as a promising technology to radically change the future of Internet networking and thus attracted tremendous interests among both Internet surfers and computer networking professionals. However, with the increasing penetration of wireless devices and mobile community using P2P technologies, P2P networking becomes infrastructure-less and social-related. This in turn brings new challenges and research opportunities to facilitate the effective deployment of P2P applications. Following by the success of P2PNet’09 in St.-Petersburg, Russia, P2PNet’10, which will be held in conjunction with ICPADS'10, aims to provide a forum for bringing together researchers and practitioners working on this area to present their latest research results and discuss open problems as well as emerging trends in this highly challenging research area, thereby promoting the development and evolution of P2P Networking. All submissions on P2P network architecture, design, implementation, simulation, analysis and measurement are welcomed. Topics include but are not limited to: * Topology Modeling of P2P Community * Scalable Measurement of P2P Systems * Evolution of P2P Community * Online Social Networking * Social Network Analysis of P2P Systems * Personalization for P2P Social Interaction * Novel Search Algorithms on P2P network * Fault Tolerance in P2P Systems * P2P Reputation * P2P Security, Privacy * P2P Incentive, Economics * P2P Streaming * Large Scale Deployment of Peer-to-Peer Systems Paper Submission Authors are encouraged to submit full papers describing original, previously unpublished, complete research, not currently under review by another conference or journal, addressing state-of-the-art research and development in all areas of P2P networking. Papers must be submitted electronically in the EDAS (http://edas.info/N9149). The maximum size of papers should be 6 pages including tables and figures. The cover page must contain an abstract of about 150 words, 3-5 keywords, name and affiliation of author(s) as well as the corresponding author's e-mail and postal address. Publication Papers accepted for P2PNet 2010 workshop will be published by the IEEE Computer Society Press. All accepted papers will be included in IEEE Xplore and indexed by EI. Extended version of selected outstanding papers will be considered for possible fast track publication in the IET Communications (indexed by SCI). The program committee will select one winner for the Best Paper Award.
