The 2011 IEEE International Conference on High Performance Switching and Routing (IEEE HPSR 2011) will be held in Cartagena (Spain), in the Spanish Mediterranean coast. The goal of the 12th IEEE HPSR is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners from around the world. IEEE HPSR is focused on the technology of high-speed, high-capacity switches and routers, including architectural and algorithmic aspects of high-speed IP networks, possibly adopting optical technologies and wireless user access. Over the last editions, IEEE HPSR has evolved into an important forum of telecommunications and networking for the exchange of state-of-the-art. IEEE HPSR 2011 will comprise of technical sessions for presentations of novel results, panel sessions and tutorials presented by leading experts. The conference solicits high-quality papers reporting original work in both theoretical and experimental research areas. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
High-performance switch and router architectures Multicast switching and routing Switching in data centers Impairment-aware optical switching fabrics Packet scheduling algorithms Power-aware switching and routing Routing protocols Routing in wireless sensor networks Routing in wireless mesh networks Cross-layer routing optimization Epidemic routing MPLS and GMPLS switching and routing High-speed network security Network management IP over optical networks Network processors Packet classification Reconfigurable switching Switching in multiprocessor architectures Optical packet/burst switching Fault tolerant switch fabrics Interconnection networks Router architectures Routing in mobile ad-hoc networks Routing in peer-to-peer networks Routing in cognitive networks Cooperative routing Routing in WDM networks Protection and fast recovery QoS, Traffic engineering and control Pricing, accounting and charging High speed packet processors Deep packet inspection Address look-up algorithms |
