Following the first edition of the workshop on Web Services (WWS’09), organized by the Information Systems and Multimedia Systems Division of CERIST (Research Center on Scientific and Technical Information), the second edition will be held 26 and 27 December 2010 at CERIST. It will be an opportunity to show recent contributions addressing the new research challenges posed by the increasing diversity of paradigms for Web services specification, development and implementation.
It is also a framework for meetings, discussions and exchanges between academic researchers, industrialists and students interested in this technology. WWS’10 will include invited speakers, tutorials and roundtables.
The workshop topics cover a broad spectrum of issues related to representation, composition, maintenance and integration of services in traditional applications as well as in emerging areas like mobile applications and Web 2.0.

TOPICS
WWS'10 Welcomes the submission of research papers, applications and demonstrations in all aspects related to Web services. Papers topics include, but are not limited to:

- Service specification
- Service discovery and integration
- Quality of Web services (security, performance, fault tolerance, ...)
- Formalization and Modeling
- Web services engineering, tests
- Semantics in Web services
- Mobile Web Services
- Web services architectures
- Case study and applications based on Web services (e-commerce, e-learning,…)
- ...


SUBMISSION
All submissions to the workshop will be reviewed by two members of the program committee and evaluated on the basis of their originality and quality. Papers can be written in French or English and must not exceed 8 pages in the format available on the WWS'10 Web site.

IMPORTANT DATES
- Paper submissions due: September 10, 2010
- Notification of acceptance: October 25, 2010
- Camera-ready version due: November 10, 2010
- WWS’10: December 26-27, 2010
