The 3rd Workshop on "Connected, Cooperative, and Autonomous Driving" will be held on 9th June 2019 in Paris, France, in conjunction with the IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium (IV 2019), one of the major annual conferences of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS). The Workshop targets connected, cooperative and autonomous technologies for cooperative and automated road transport. The workshop also features an Industry Panel with experts from related industries, which will again foster the interactive exchange of academia and industry.
# AIM & SCOPE The workshop and industry panel on Connected, Cooperative and Automated Diving targets the technical and scientific challenges on C-ITS applications, V2X, connected and cooperative systems in automated driving. Competing V2X communication technologies, multiple sensor technologies, decision-making and control, sensor fusion, AI & machine learning, and cooperative perception systems will be highlighted. The impacts of C-ITS applications will be analysed and requirements for strong cooperation between industry, authorities and academia in different areas and expertise will be addressed. The main theme is "Intelligent Vehicles and Digital Infrastructure for Automated Road Transport”, emphasising the current and the next generation of autonomous and cooperative systems within a connected-C-ITS environment. # TOPICS We want to encourage discussion of current and new challenges in the various topics of connect and automated driving, cooperative ADAS, vehicular communication, safety technologies, and intelligent/AI multi-sensor systems, including but not limited to: - Connected and Automated Vehicles (CAV) - V2X communications - C-ITS deployment - Standardisation - 5G research and testing - Connected and cooperative systems - Situation prediction, cooperative maneuver and trajectory planning strategies - AI multi-sensor fusion (passive and active sensors) - Cooperative/Connected ADAS - Impacts evaluation of connected, cooperative and automated transport |
