The 8th International Conference on Applied Technologies (ICAT) aims to bring together top researchers and practitioners working in different domains in the field of ICT (Information and Communications Technology) to exchange their expertise and to discuss the perspectives of development and collaboration.
ICAT 2026 will be held in Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) located in Samborondón, Ecuador (near Guayaquil, the largest city in Ecuador) and is jointly organized by Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) in collaboration with GDEON®. ICAT 2026 invites high-quality submissions in different areas in the field of ICT (Information and Communications Technology). Papers must describe novel and original work that pushes the state-of-the-art. Case studies and empirical research papers are also welcome. Industry Track: Papers should prioritize impact and realism over novelty. We expect that industry track publications report useful testing tools, successful stories, and experiences when applying theories and methodologies into practice, or promising prototypes that have the potential to impact practice in the next few years. ICAT 2026 proceedings will be published in Springer with Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS) series.
