The 18th IEEE International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Processing with Applications (ISPA-2020)
https://hpcn.exeter.ac.uk/ispa2020 Exeter, England, UK, 17-19 December 2020 Sponsored by IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE Technical Committee of Scalable Computing (TCSC) INTRODUCTION The IEEE ISPA-2020 (18th IEEE International Symposium on Parallel and Distributed Processing with Applications) is a forum for presenting leading work on parallel and distributed computing and networking, including architecture, compilers, runtime systems, applications, reliability, security, parallel programming models and much more. During the symposium, scientists and engineers in both academia and industry are invited to present their work on concurrent and parallel systems (multicore, multithreaded, heterogeneous, clustered systems, distributed systems, grids, clouds, edge, and large scale machines). The 18th IEEE ISPA follows the tradition of previous successful IEEE ISPA conferences in the years from 2003 to 2019 in Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. It will feature sessions of regular presentations, workshops, tutorials and keynote speeches. IEEE ISPA-2020 is particularly interested in research addressing heterogeneous computing with the use of accelerators, mobile computing, approximate computing, tools and methodologies to improve the quality of parallel programming and applying generic computing approaches to networks, in particular Software Defined networking and its applications. ISPA-2020 will be hosted in Exeter, the capital city of Devon and provides the county with a central base for education, medicine, religion, commerce and culture. The city is also home to the magnificent Exeter Cathedral, which dates back to Norman times. Exeter is also ideally placed to base a trip to branch out visiting places such as the famous Dartmoor National Park and the unspoilt beaches of the North and South Devon coastlines. Prospective authors are invited to submit their papers to ISPA-2020. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. The authors of selected best papers will be invited post conference to extend their contributions for special issues of prestigious journals to be planned in conjunction with the conference. SCOPE AND TOPICS Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: Track 1: Systems and Architectures Track Track 2: Technologies and Tools Track Track 3: Applications Track IMPORTANT DATES Paper Submission Deadline: 12 September 2020 Extended to 20 September 2020 (firm deadline) Authors Notification: 18 October 2020 Extended to 22 October 2020 Camera-Ready Paper Due: 20 November 2020 Early Registration Due: 20 November 2020 Conference Date: 17-19 December 2020 PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINE All papers need to be submitted electronically through the conference submission website (https://hpcn.exeter.ac.uk/ispa/) with PDF format. The materials presented in the papers should not be published or under submission elsewhere. Each paper is limited to 8 pages (or 10 pages with over length charge) including figures and references using IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style (two columns, single-spaced, 10 fonts). Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings can be found at: https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html Once accepted, the paper will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. At least one of the authors of any accepted paper is requested to register the paper at the conference. |
