The Scientific Sessions will be organized as afternoon sessions on Monday, June 20, Tuesday, June 21, and Wednesday, June 22. They provide first class open forums for engineers and scientists in academia, industry and government to present and discuss issues, trends and results that will shape the future of high performance computing, networking, and storage.
Important Dates Full Paper Submission Deadline January 9, 2011 Notification of Acceptance March 1, 2011 Scientific Sessions June 20 – 22, 2011 Paper Submission We encourage submission of high-quality papers reporting original work in theoretical, experimental and industrial research and development in the following areas: Architectures -Multicore/manycore systems -Heterogeneous systems (FPGAs, GPGPUs etc.) -Network technology Storage & Data -File systems & tape libraries -Data intensive applications Algorithms & Analysis -Scalability on future architectures -Performance evaluation and tuning Future Trends -Exascale HPC -HPC in the Cloud Large Scale Simulations -Coupled simulations -Industrial simulations Submissions on other innovative aspects of high performance computing are also welcome. Full papers should be submitted via the EasyChair conference system by January 9, 2011. We only accept submissions in PDF format which are correctly formatted using the Springer LaTeX style and do not exceed 8 pages. Incorrectly formatted papers will be excluded from the reviewing process. Papers will be peer-reviewed by three reviewers and will be evaluated based on their novelty, fundamental insights and potential for long-term contribution. By submitting a paper, you agree to present the paper at ISC’11 in Hamburg, Germany; presenters need to be registered ISC’11 participants. Proceedings A maximum of 24 accepted papers will be published in a special edition of “Computer Science – Research and Development”, Springer Verlag, Germany, which will be available at ISC’11 from June 20 on.
