SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 5 July 2010, 23:59.

Topics Include:

The DIY Games and Explorations in Gaming Interactions Workshop on 6
September 2010 seeks to explore connections between hardware hacking
and gaming interactions, with a focus on innovation and
cross-pollination between the fields. The workshop will be held as a
part of the HCI conference.

Questions to consider include (but are not limited to):

* What sorts of gaming innovations have arisen in the field of
hardware hacking, and how have they developed beyond the initial idea
or prototype?

* How are DIY innovations reflected in console, PC, online, or mobile
games? Conversely, how do new forms of gaming interactions affect the
sorts of projects that hardware hackers tackle?

* How do changes in technologies, and the tools available to hobbyists
and professionals, affect possibilities for innovation in gaming
interfaces and interactions?

**Submission**

The workshop invites position papers and papers describing current
work. Demonstrations are also welcome and will be accommodated if
possible. All papers should be original and should not be under
simultaneous review for any other conferences or workshops. Papers
must be written in English, no more than six pages, and formatted
according to the ACM 2-column format guidelines.
