2010 International Forum on Strategic Technologies (IFOST 2010)
Ulsan, 13-15 October, 2010 The 2010 International Forum on Strategic Technologies (IFOST 2010) will be held on 13-15 October 2009 in Ulsan, Korea. The conference will be hosted by University of Ulsan (Ulsan, the Republic of Korea) and the contribution from Novosibirsk State Technical University (Novosibirsk, Russia), Tomsk Polytechnic University (Tomsk, Russia), Mongolian University of Science and Technology (Ulan-Bator, Mongolia), Harbin University of Science and Technology (Harbin, Public Republic of China), University of Malaya (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), Ha Noi University of Technology (Ha Noi, Vietnam) and Vietnam National University HoChiMinh city (VNU-HCM)- HoChiMinh city University of Technology (HCMUT). Sponsors of IFOST 2010: Ulsan Metropolitan City, Ulsan Technopark, University of Ulsan This conference will commence in the morning of 13 October with registration and opening session, followed by plenary session, then will continue till afternoon of 15 October with technical program divided into five parallel sessions: e-Vehicle/Green Car, New Materials, Renewable Energy, Smart Grid(Intelligent Power System and Energy), Bio-/Chemio-/Nano-Technology and Others with Green Technology OBJECTIVES The technical program brings together researchers, graduate students from academia, research labs, and engineers from industry to exchange, discuss and share their experiences, new ideas and researches about theoretical and practical aspects of advanced strategic technologies. PROPOSED THEMES The papers solicited in IFOST 2010 will cover a variety of topics including but not limited to: Session 1. E-Vehicle / Green Car: Session 2. New Materials: Session 3. Renewable Energy: Bioenergy, Photovoltaics, Solar heating and cooling, Concentrating solar power, Wind Energy, Hydropower, Ocean energy systems, Geothermal, Energy conservation in buildings and in industry, Energy storage, Energy policy. Session 4. Smart Grid (Intelligent Power System and Energy): Session 5. Bio-/Chemio-/Nano- Technology: Session 6. Others Authors are invited to submit electronically original contributions in the conference themes and related topics on the following site: Papers should not be longer than 6 (six) A4-pages in double column PDF format. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings. The official language is English.
