Creating Bridges addresses the themes of multiculturalism and diversity within a range of communities and against the backdrop of the 21st century. How can we create the bridges that close the distance between us? What tools do we need, and how can we ensure that our journey is a safe one? These questions form the backdrop of the Multicultural Association of Nova Scotia’s (MANS’) Creating Bridges conference.
MANS invites proposals to present that address multicultural and diversity research, initiatives or projects within various Canadian settings in these areas: * Immigration & Refugees * Arts & Culture * Education & Learning * Business & Enterprise * Youth & Teens * Multifaiths & Spirituality * Employment & Careers * Women, LGBTQ & Differently-Abled Communities Submit proposals (include name, position, organization, telephone/email contact details, proposal title, stream preference, and 250-word abstract) to events@mans.ns.ca (please note Creating Bridges in the subject line) by June 4, 2010. |
