The Argentine Association of Digital Humanities / Asociación Argentina de Humanidades Digitales (AAHD) and the School of Humanities from the University of Rosario / Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad Nacional de Rosario (UNR) invites researchers, professors and students to participate in its International Conference: Digital Humanities. The Culture of Data, to be held at the Espacio Cultural Universitario (ECU) and the School of Humanities / Facultad de Humanidades (UNR) in Rosario, Province of Santa Fe, 7-9 November, 2018.

Digital Humanities articulate different initiatives that are gradually being incorporated into the university curriculum and research activities across different disciplines, allowing us to think more broadly in a future of community-oriented and open policies research lines.
Digital Humanities are closely related to the discourses on cyberinfraestructures that allow new research lines based on Open Education, Open Science, Open Citizenship, Open Data and Open Access. These approaches impact on the practice of academics when dealing with information, communication and dissemination processes, and helps developing different research lines and building a plural and dynamic community that puts theories, practices and new objects in circulation, not only inside the Academy but also through innovative forms around associations, laboratories, research projects and social-oriented initiatives. These new experiences are steadily defining the field in a collaborative way.

The Culture of Data will allow us to reflect on the way in which data has become widespread in research in the Humanities and Social Sciences the same as how new areas, objects and methods guided by new epistemologies and paradigm changes have been developed.

We invite scholars and researchers in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, cultural and media communicators, journalists, librarians, makers, programmers, to join this Third International Conference in our country.
