International Conference on Massive Information Sharing and Integration (MISI) 2011
Special Track on Electronic Healthcare (SALUS) August 22nd-26th, 2011 Vienna, Austria MISI will share the venue and is co-organized with the International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES). We are proud to announce Gary McGraw and Gene Spafford as confirmed keynote speakers for ARES/MISI 2011. The Special Track on Electronic Healthcare at MISI 2011 will bring together researchers and practitioners in the area of e-Health. SALUS will highlight the various aspects of e-Health – with special focus on privacy and security, semantics, interoperability, legislation and standardization. Important Dates Submission Deadline: April 1st , 2011 Author Notification: April 30th , 2011 Author Registration: May 20th , 2011 Camera ready version due: June 1st, 2011 Conference: August 22nd - 26th, 2011 Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: · Business process and workflow management · Data mining and analysis (secondary data use) · Decision support · Economic, ethical, legal, multilingual, organizational, and social aspects of e-Health · Electronic health records, personal health record, e-Prescription · Healthcare information systems · Mobility · Patient safety · Quality of e-Health services · Security and privacy (privacy-enhancing technologies) · Semantic interoperability, Semantic Web · Standards, terminologies, guidelines and certification · Telemedicine, telehealth · The future of e-Health Submission Guidelines: Authors are invited to submit research and application papers following the IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Manuscripts style (see http://www.misi-conference.org for details on formatting and submission). Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, significance, technical soundness, presentation and clarity of exposition.
