Modern service industry requires collaborations among large-scale resources to support complex scientific and business applications across multiple domains. Service-oriented architecture is a promising technology pathway, with its discipline ??construct a business application with the reuse of existing web services??. Hence a key problem in modern service industry is the service integration and management. The object of the workshop is to invite authors to submit original manuscripts that demonstrate and explore current advances in the area of service integration and management for modern service industry. The workshop solicits novel papers on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:
? Formal methods in modeling service process
? Verification of service process
? Service compatibility and substitution
? Service orchestration and service choreography
? Behavioral adaptation and evolution of services
? Dynamic service matching and selection
? Service level agreement and negotiation
? Evolution, transformation and integration of service process
? Service process mining
? Security, privacy and trust in service process management
? Case study and application in modern service industry

Submission
Papers should be limited up to 8 pages in IEEE format. All papers will be peer reviewed by two or three PC members. Submitting a paper to the workshop means that if the paper is accepted, at least one author should register to APSCC2008 and attend the workshop to present the paper. For no-show authors, their papers will be removed from the digital library after the conference and their affiliations will receive a notification.
All accepted papers will appear in the APSCC 2008 workshop proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society (EI Indexed). Selected papers will be invited to a special issue in a major international journal.
