2011 International Workshop on Cloud and Social Networking (CSN2011) in conjunction with SCA2011 December 12-14, 2011, Sydney, Australia http://sci.vu.edu.au/~xu/CSN2011/index.htm ====================================================================== Cloud Computing and Social Networking are important trends of Information Technology infrastructure as well as Informatics engineering. Cloud Computing means using multiple server computers via a digital network, as though they were one computer. The goal of Cloud Computing is to consolidate infrastructure, and share resources among the service consumers, partners, and vendors in the cloud value chain. Social Networking is a social structure made up of individuals called ??nodes??, which are tied by one or more specific types of interdependency networks. Social networking consists of graph type and the analysis of social network is the important problem. Recently these two topics make a romantic rendezvous and produce motivational insights to the future research and industries. This workshop evidences new advances and research results in the fields of cloud computing and social networking. The workshop will bring together leading researchers, engineers, scientists, developers in the domain of interest from around the world. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to: Cloud Computing - Cloud Computing Architecture - Software and Application-as-a-Service Clouds - Economic and Business Model for Cloud Computing - Virtualization Clouds - Programming Models and Systems/Tools - Cloud Computing Consulting Methods - Design Tool for Cloud Computing - Energy Efficiency and Clouds - Monitoring, Management and Maintenance of Clouds - Security and Privacy in Clouds - Business Process and Workflow Management in Clouds - Software Architecture and Enterprise Architecture for Clouds Social Networking - Weblogs, including comments - Graph theory - Application of social networking - Data model of social networking - Analysis patterns of human - Hybrid social networking - Social network analysis - Social recommender systems - Linkage analysis and friend recommendation - Visualization - Monitoring, Management and Maintenance of Social Networks - Hybrid social networks - Business Process and Workflow Management in Clouds Submission Submissions must include abstract, keywords, the e-mail address of the corresponding author and should not exceed 8 pages for main conference, including tables and figures in IEEE CS format. The template files for LATEX or WORD can be downloaded here. All paper submissions must represent original and unpublished work. Each submission will be peer reviewed by at least three program committee members. Submission of a paper should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register for the conference and present the work. Publications All accepted papers will be included in a combined workshop proceedings. The best quality accepted paper after the presentation on the workshop day will be invited for extension for possible publication in the following journals: World Wide Web Journal (SCI), Journal of Database Management (SCIE), Social Network Analysis & Mining (Springer), Journal of Information Technology and Architecture (KEA), International Journal of Business Intelligence and Data Mining (InderScience).
