Call for Papers
Special Issue on Intelligent Systems and Internet of Things Big Data Mining and Analytics is an international academic journal sponsored by Tsinghua University and published quarterly. It features on technologies to enable and accelerate big data discovery. All of papers published are on the IEEE Xplore Digital Library with the open access mode. The journal is indexed and abstracted in Ei Compendex, Scopus, DBLP Computer Science, Google Scholar, and CNKI. Today, IoTs and Big Data is ubiquitous as it is applied in practice from Industrial Control Systems to e-Health, e-commerce, Cyber Physical Systems, smart cities, smart parking, healthcare, supply chain management, and many more. Such extreme reliance on IoTs results in voluminous data being generated which has to be collected, processed, and analyzed. Numerous industries, academics, alliances, and standardization organizations make an effort on IoTs and Big Data standardization, innovation, and development. But there is still a need for a comprehensive framework with integrated standards under one IoTs vision. This special issue aims to discuss the role of IoT as applied in practice to real-life organizations. This special issue also aims to undertake this application with the rigor of scientific yet practically applicable research. Apart from illustrating the diversified IoT applications, this special issue also addresses the issue of data safekeeping along with the development of new security enhancing schemes such as blockchain as well as a range of other advances in IoTs and Big Data. Potential topics include but are not limited to the following: IoTs edge and cloud architectures AI for IoTs Web of things IoTs communication technologies Energy efficiency and sustainability in IoTs Sensing, signal processing, actuation and analytics Security and privacy in IoTs Human interaction with IoTs Self-adaptation for IoTs systems (Software) Interoperability in IoTs Large-scale data processing Robotic IoTs systems Distributed ledger technologies for IoTs Real-world applications, deployments, and testbeds Intelligent signal processing Intelligent data analysis Web intelligence IoTs architecture for intelligent environments Intelligent web search engines Intelligent natural language systems and applications Intelligent information extraction Intelligent perception and intelligent machines Intelligent agents Augmented reality systems Spiking neural networks and systems Patterns in intelligent applications Stability in intelligent systems SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Papers submitted to this journal for possible publication must be original and must not be under consideration for publication in any other journals.
