Call For Papers

Dear Authors,

We kindly invite you to share your research and creative endeavors with your colleagues at the 5th International Conference “Electronic Governance and Open Society: Challenges in Eurasia” (EGOSE 2018).

The EGOSE 2018 is organized by the joint efforts of the E-Governance Center of ITMO University and North-West Institute of Management, branch of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). The conference aims to address the main issues of concern within the Information Society, e-government, e-governance, and e-democracy. The Conference provides a platform for networking and collaboration of eGovernance experts from the whole world.

The EGOSE 2018 Conference invites paper submissions and speakers on all topics related to e-Governance and Open Society perspective with a special focus on common and specific problems of the Eurasian region. Topics of interest will include but are not limited to the following:
• eGovernance and Eurasian Integration
• Open Government Prospects
• Information Society and eGovernance
• Open Government Data
• Citizen Centred E-Government
• Building Smart City
• Convergence in E-Governance Services
• Smart City and Quality of Life
• eGovernance and Policy Modelling
• Participatory Governance
• Comparative trends in Digital Government
• Disruptive E-Governance
• Social Media: Tools for analysis, participation, and impact
• Big Data, Computer Analytics and Governance
• Cases and perspectives of the government transformations
• …
EGOSE 2018 is a double-blind peer-reviewed conference with 3 reviewers/paper at least. Authors are invited to submit their research papers or experience reports in English. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or considered for publication elsewhere.

Particularly welcome are the articles containing an analysis of impact and benefits as a result of the introduction of the described EGOV innovations.

All accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings and will be published by the Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS / CCIS) Series, indexed by Scopus and Scholar Google. Best paper awards are planned.
