This inaugural CaSME workshop is jointly co-sponsored by the IEEE (Circuits and Systems Society), the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (INAOE), the Texas A&M Analog and Mixed Signal Center, the National Institute of Health (NIH), Biotroniks, Boston Scientific and endorsed by LiSSA (IEEE CAS Life Science System and Applications). CaSME invites you to participate in this exciting inaugural workshop to advance Medical and Environmental applications with a Circuits and Systems perspective – a highly multidisciplinary approach to leverage on the diversity of circuits and systems (including solid-sate circuits, neural networks, signal processing, etc) to improve health by the development and application of biomedical technologies, and to monitor and control environment influences on the development and progression of human diseases.
The workshop will be held in the Merida, Yucatán (Mexico) at the Fiesta Americana Hotel, near the renowned UNESCO world heritage Mayan Ruins and Cancún. The workshop will include tutorials, roundtable discussions and oral and poster presentations. You are encouraged to submit papers based on the IEEE 4-page manuscript format with emphasis on original work.
