The University of Informatics Science and the Ibero-American Project Engineering Network (RIIPRO) invite researchers in the fields of Project Management to participate in the VIII Ibero-American Congress on Project Engineering, to be held from September 24 to 26, 2018, in Habana, Cuba, as the III International Scientific Conference UCIENCIA 2018 (https://uciencia.uci.cu, https://eventos.uci.cu).

As part of the congress, the “Young RIIPRO” event will also be held, aimed at the presentation of papers associated with project management by university students. This encourages students’ research training.


TOPICS

IACPE 2018 invites to prospective authors to contribute to the workshop by electronically submitting unpublished full papers in one of the next topics (but are not limited to):

• Project engineering, BIM technologies, experiences and applications.
• Algorithms and tools for decision making in project management.
• Intelligent data analysis, applications in project management.
• Project cost and acquisition management.
• Project management of human resources and leadership.
• Management of interested parties, contracting and negotiation in projects.
• Project scope and Schedule management.
• Project quality management.
• Project risk management.
• Integrated project management.
• Training in project management and international certification models.
• Analysis of project social impact.

PAPERS STYLE GUIDELINES AND REVIEW PROCESS

We accepted full papers contributions in English, Spanish or Portuguese of no more than 15 pages, including illustrations, tables, and references. The template that will be used in both Word and Latex can be downloaded at: http://uciencia.uci.cu

Papers will be evaluated based on their originality, technical content, quality and relevance of theoretical and/or practical contribution to Project Management. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by two members of the Program Committee. The final acceptance will be based upon double-blind peer review of the full-length paper and will be unappealable.

The submission link is available on the official conference website: https://uciencia.uci.cu, https://eventos.uci.cu. The papers accepted will be published in the Conference proceedings through a CD with ISBN that will contain the complete papers and will be indexed in DOAJ.

Foreign delegates: 200.00 CUC (170.00 EUR). Includes: certificate of participation, accreditation module, publication in the conference proceedings, lunches during the days of the event, welcome cocktail and farewell dinner.
