Call For Papers

MITACS would like to invite you to participate in our workshop on Social Networks taking place in Vancouver from August 9th - 13th 2010. The workshop is part of the MITACS International Focus Period on Advances in Network Analysis and its Applications and will be attended by 30-50 specialists in the field (from academia and business) as well as students. The 5 day event will consist of plenary talks, tutorials, industry-academic panel discussions and contributed talks.

We are also accepting abstracts for contributed talks as part of the workshop. Submission details are available on our website.

A volume entitled "Focus Period on Advances in Networking and its Applications: Social Networks" consisting of selected papers from the workshop will be published by Springer in the series "Mathematics in industry" (http://www.springer.com/series/4650). All papers will be refereed.
