On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we have the pleasure to invite you to submit your contributions to the VII International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition (IWAIPR’2021). The conference will be held in the Hotel Nacional, in Havana, Cuba from October 5–7, 2021, in the context of the IV International Scientific Conference UCIENCIA 2021(https://uciencia.uci.cu),and is organized by the Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas (UCI), and the Cuban Association for Pattern Recognition (ACRP), which is affiliated to the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR).
All accepted papers will be included in the proceedings, which will be published by Springer as Lecture Notes in Computer Science, and one conference award will be given:IAPR-IWAIPR Best Paper Award. A special INVITED KEYNOTE LECTURE by Professor Apostolos Antonacopoulos, Past-President of the International Association for Pattern Recognition(IAPR),will complete the program. The papers have been write using Microsoft Office Word, Open\Libre Office Writer or Latex, and have to be formatted following LNCS style guidelines: • LNCS style guidelines: https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines Authors will be requested to submit their papers electronically through Springer Online Conference Services before May 31, 2018 • IWAIPR’2021 OCS: https://ocs.springer.com/ocs/home/IWAIPR2021 Papers will be evaluated based on their originality, technical content, quality and relevance of theoretical and/or practical contribution to Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence. All submissions will be peer reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee. The final acceptance will be based upon double blind peer review of the full-length paper and will be unappealable. The accepted papers will be included in the proceedings of the IWAIPR’2021, which will be published by Springer in Lecture Notes in Computer Science: • LNCS: http://www.springer.com/lncs Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors of each paper to register and to present the communication at the workshop, if it is accepted. The workshop will have only one track.
