PURPOSE

The 15th IASTED International Conference on Robotics and Applications (RA 2010) will be an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in robotics and the broad range of its applications. Specific emphasis will also be placed on telerobotics, which receives increasing attention due to the tremendous progress in telecommunication and data processing technologies. Applications of telematics are widely diversified and interact strongly with telerobotics. Telematics methods offer, in addition, interesting cross fertilization potential with the accompanying conference on telehealth technologies. In the frame of RA 2010, different aspects of robotics will be addressed – including the point of view of developers and researchers from university and industry as well as the aspect of business applications. It is an opportunity to present and observe the latest research results and ideas in the areas of:
CONCURRENT CONFERENCES

RA 2010 will be held in conjunction with the IASTED International Conferences on:

* Antennas, Radar and Wave Propagation (ARP 2010)
* Nanotechnology and Applications (NANA 2010)
* Biotechnology (BioTech 2010)
