13th International Baltic Conference On Databases And Information Systems (Baltic DB&IS 2018)
1-4 July 2018, Trakai, Lithuania https://www.mii.vu.lt/balticDBIS2018/ e-mail: dbis2018@mii.vu.lt CALL FOR PAPERS The Baltic Conference on Databases and Information Systems is an international forum for researchers and developers focused on databases and information systems. The objective of this conference series is to bring together researchers, practitioners, and PhD students and provide an environment to present their work, discuss current issues and to exchange their ideas. The conference will feature original research and application papers on the theory and development of advanced information systems, which present everywhere and are thought of as cooperative networks of people, data, things, and services. Data management and analysis are fundamental for information systems, especially when the volume of data created globally is growing exponentially. The Doctoral Consortium will be held in line with the main Conference. This conference is continuing a series of successful biennial Baltic conferences on databases and information systems, which have been held in Trakai (1994), Tallinn (1996, 2002, 2008, 2014), Riga (1998, 2004, 2010, 2016), and Vilnius (2000, 2006, 2012). DB&IS’2018 will take place in Trakai to remember its very origins – “Twenty Years After“. Trakai is a historic city and lake resort near Vilnius. TOPICS Submissions are invited on topics including, but not limited to, the following: Concepts, models, methods, tools, and techniques in Enterprise and IS Engineering: Business process management; Business process modeling, analysis, and engineering; Requirements engineering; Enterprise architecture and frameworks; Model-driven engineering; Aspect-oriented analysis and modeling; Domain-specific languages and tools; Blockchain technology; Advanced database systems; Reuse; Testing and validation.
