Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite you to contribute a chapter for our upcoming book entitled ---- “Advances in computational logistics and supply chain analytics: theories, methods, and applications” ------ to be published by Springer at the end of 2023. There is no fee regarding the review or the publication of any chapter upon acceptance. Below is a short description of the book: =================================================================================================== The increasing globalization and the rapid technological development have put more pressure on business managers to propose efficient logistic and supply chain management (SCM) strategies, tools, methods, and techniques to keep efficient the overall flow of raw materials and to ensure receiving high-quality finished products. Lots of efforts have been deployed to address these challenges. In particular, computational intelligence methods have been extensively used in studying and optimizing the different activities along the entire supply chain including transportation planning, inventory management, and facility location problems, while considering customer requirements, short delivery times, and increasing cost pressure. This book highlights the state of the art and challenges related to the design and the application of computational methods to solve logistic and supply chain management problems. It aims to present for readers recent computational logistic methods and supply chain analytics techniques designed and applied to support managers in improving such complex processes. The main topics covered are, but not limited to: • Data-driven techniques for solving SCM problems • Smart logistics • Reverse logistics • Supply Chain Cooperative Relationship • Transportation analysis problems • Intelligent production planning techniques • Inventory optimization • Digital transformation of logistics • Fuzzy approaches for solving logistic and transportation problems • Supervised and unsupervised learning methods for optimized logistics • Demand and sales forecasting using supervised, unsupervised and deep learning • Solving Scheduling problems • Integrated production distribution • Data analytic techniques for solving vehicle routing problems • Intelligent and automatic operations planning • Predictive analytics in quality control • Innovative techniques and tools in logistics and industry 4.0 • Augmented reality for logistics and industry 4.0 • Digitalization and automation of logistics and Supply chain processes • Analysis and evaluation of urban transportation • Distributed optimization of logistics planning • Data value chain in smart logistics and production • Learning-based risk management • Centralized and distributed logistic management • Intelligent and smart systems for Solving logistics and Supply chain problems • Intelligent logistic network design • Intelligent visualization of logistics data =================================================================================================== Important Dates Submission of abstracts: January 10, 2023 Notification of initial editorial decisions: January 20, 2023 Submission of full-length chapters: March 01, 2023 Notification of final editorial decisions: April 15, 2023 Submission of revised chapters: Mai 15, 2023 =================================================================================================== Submissions (to be indicated as soon as possible) All submissions should be done via EasyChair: Original artwork and a signed Springer copyright release form will be required for all accepted chapters It is especially important that you use the following Springer book template : • LATEX: https://resource-cms.springernature.com/springer-cms/rest/v1/content/20568/data/contributed-books • Word: https://resource-cms.springernature.com/springer-cms/rest/v1/content/3318/data/v6 Feel free to contact the book editors via email (imalharbi@uj.edu.sa; cbenncir@uj.edu.sa; balyoubi@uj.edu.sa; hajer.benromdhan@isg.u-tunis.tn) regarding your chapter ideas.
