Call For Papers | |||||||||||||||
Call for Papers Current technological developments allow the collection of huge amounts of spatio-temporal data that are usually stored and afterwards analyzed to support the decision-making process. Analytical tools, ranging from statistical packages to sophisticated data mining algorithms, allow the analysis of such data sets. This workshop will address the analytical methodologies, strategies or techniques that allow the analysis of complex data, namely spatio-temporal data, and the suitable visualization mechanisms that ensure an effective integration of this type of data in the decision-making process in organizations. Printable Call for Papers Topics of Interest The workshop welcomes contributions in the area of analytics for spatio-temporal data, including: Algorithms for spatial and spatio-temporal data mining Analysis of spatio-temporal data and applications Visualization of spatio-temporal data and applications Spatio-temporal data warehousing and data management OLAP for spatial and spatio-temporal data sets Software, libraries and tools for spatio-temporal data representation, processing and understanding Citizen science for spatio-temporal data analysis Important Deadlines Paper submission: March 16th, 2018 Notification of Acceptance: April 8th, 2018 End of Early-bird Registration: May 6th, 2018 Camera Ready Submission: May 6th, 2018 ICCSA 2018 Conference: July 2nd-5th, 2018 Submissions To submit a paper, please connect to the Submission site from the link available at the ICCSA 2018 web site. Only papers submitted through the electronic system and strictly adhering to the relevant format will be considered for reviewing and publication. The paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere. All submissions will be reviewed by at least three experts in the relevant field. The submitted paper must be camera-ready, between 10 and 16 pages long and formatted according to the LNCS rules. Please consult the formatting information and templates. Please pay attention, when submitting your contribution, to select the entry Advances in Spatio-Temporal Analytics (ST-Analytics) 2018 in the listbox shown in the submission form. Proceedings Accepted and presented papers will be published as part of the conference proceedings by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) Series.
