Call For Papers

The Association of Students of English and the Institute of English Studies of the University of Rzeszów are pleased to announce the 8th students’ conference on English Studies titled: "Galicia Studies in Linguistics, Literature and Culture: The Students’ Voices 8," which is to take place at the University of Rzeszów, Poland, on May 31, 2019. Submissions covering the following wide range of disciplines are welcome:
• Linguistics,
• Literature,
• Culture,
• Didactics,
• Translation Studies.

Our special guest speaker will be Bhumi Dalia, M.A., a Fulbright Teaching Assistant and a graduate of Northwest University, Washington, USA.

Students interested in participating in the conference are invited to send paper proposals up to 250 words for a 20-minute presentation by April 25, 2019. Please fill in the proposal form provided on the conference webpage: galiciastudentsvoices.wordpress.com. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to abstract submitting authors by April 30, 2019. Please note that selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings: Galicia Studies in Linguistics, Literature and Culture: The Students' Voices 8.

Conference fee is 50 PLN or €20 (€10 conference fee plus €10 for bank transfers). It covers participation certificate, conference materials and coffee breaks.
Language of the conference: English.
