This workshop aims to provide an overview of different disciplinary fields connecting the appearance of materials, surfaces, and objects with an emphasis on characterization by measurement, prediction by modeling, virtual prototyping, and manufacturing and reproduction of objects with visual effects.
Submit your research and developments on topics in materials, Nanoscience, optics, imaging, computer science, Metrology, perception, art, and design. CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS SUBMISSION FORMATS Oral presentation (20 min) Short presentation (6 min) Poster Submit a short 1-page abstract, by using the template available at http://bit.ly/CIC27_MAWS REVIEW/DECISION: The abstract will be reviewed by the scientific committee of the GDR, with submitters notified of rejection/approval decision by 17 September 2019. PUBLICATION: Based on submitter preference, the abstract will be published on the GDR website, in the minutes of the workshop after the CIC27 conference.
