The special session on ‘Medical Image Analysis and Machine Learning’ is planned for the Biomedical Health Informatics Conference to be held in Las Vegas, USA, (4-7) March, 2018 https://bhi-bsn.embs.org/2018/bhi

This session aims to bring together machine learning and computer vision/pattern recognition
researchers to discuss latest progress in the area of medical image analysis, emphasize new research questions and collaborate for promising future research direction.

Topics of interest
The session will seek original and unpublished research work on following aspects but not limited to: Computer aided detection and diagnosis, Deep Learning for Medical Image Analysis, Biomedical Image Classification and Retrieval, Evolutionary computing, Reinforcement learning, Neural Learning Algorithms, Digital Image Registration, Segmentation, Image Compression, Pattern Recognition.

All submissions in special sessions will be required to follow the 1-page abstract in IEEE format and will not be included in the IEEE Xplore Conference Proceedings. There is no requirement for full-length papers submission, but authors interested in publishing their paper in the Conference Proceedings, may submit, in addition to their 1-page abstract, a 4-page paper.

Each invited paper will have a 12 minutes oral presentation slot, while a panel discussion on all presented papers will take place at the end of the session

After submitting the paper (1-page or 4-page) please email the name of authors and their affiliations with contact details, the title of the proposed presentation, and Submission number (unique ID) to (pradnya.kulkarni@mitcoe.edu.in) at your earliest. The ID is a number included at the bottom of the confirmation email received following the submission.
